The planet we live on is full of incredible creatures and landscapes, which is why we should do everything we can to keep the planet healthy!
Our Eco-Policy
As a business, The Green Retreats group takes the well-being of the environment very seriously. Our planet provides us with so many resources and living space, keeping it healthy and looking after it is a task that we should all be taking part in! It is of the utmost importance to us that all of our processes are as eco-friendly as possible. Which is why our systems and services follow strict guidelines to ensure that we are doing out bit for the planet.
We work closely with Buck Recycling to ensure that all of our waste is recycled and that none of our excess materials ends up in a landfill harming the environment. Because of this, you can enjoy your annex and extra living space knowing that it has been constructed with the planet in mind.
What Makes The Annex UK Green?
Our factory is 100% Carbon neutral, meaning that the products produced and day to day actions have no negative impact on the planet. We get the power for our factory and office from a solar farm which is onsite. There are over 6000 solar panels installed across a huge 10 acres of runway at the former RAF base. You can read more about how we are a green company by reading our environmental policy on our website.
What We Have Done For Earth Day
In celebration of earth day, we have donated to a fantastic charity called BBOWT. The BBOWT charity work tirelessly to ensure the safety of our local environment. They work hard to protect wildlife and protect their habitats allowing them to flourish and continue their lives undisturbed by human activity. To donate to this incredible charity, visit their website!
