Breaching building regulations

Green Retreats are breaching building regulations. Beware this company! We found out the hard way. Wasted a lot of money ( nearly £25000) using them. They said it had to be this size because of building regulations. They said if we went with another much cheaper company who offered to build the size we wanted (which was 25 m2) it could be taken down as it would breach building regulations. We stupidly believed them even though my council had said as long as the size and height were correct it was all good to go. We told them this but again were left believing that noone knew the law except them.
And now, a year on , they don't seem to care about fire risk, Grenfell or building regulations (some of the reasons they gave us to choose them over the other companies. They claimed they knew the legal requirements)
Turns out they are now choosing to forget these legal requirements and are breaching regulations . Building regulations have not changed in 2 years.
Green retreats have not told us why they are now choosing to disregard legal requirements.
So we are left believing that
1. They are now breaching these regulations
Or
2. They made a massive mistake with us.
If the latter is the case they must hold up their hands and admit to this.
From the beginning they were not honest with us.
