Further to my review of Feb 2020 and what was known at that time i have now revised my review of GreenRetreat as a result of using the LG Air Conditioning unit purchased from them during the warm weather in July/August. I was fortunate to have a monitor in the garden office by chance when the PPM CO2 readings hit 3,000 (dangerous if prolonged time and causes drowsiness - 1,200 is the advised acceptable level for healthy home and work environment) this was despite having trickle vents and the window partly open. Anything above 1,200 is considered dangerous for long periods of time as you could become drowsy. When reported to Green Retreat customer service suggested that I buy plants for inside the building that is how seriously they took my complaint. When escalated then to their legal team they felt that Green Retreat did not need to warn any future customers of the dangers when they are purchasing a Green Retreat building with air conditioning from them and this s evidenced by a lack of information in sales and marketing materials
I am presently taking legal advice as I would not have purchased the air conditioning unit had I had been made aware of the dangers and implore anyone that has purchased these items to check the CO2/PPM measurements and to also escalate to Green Retreats to ensure that they take appropriate actions the same advice applies to people looking to make a purchase.
