Building Regulations Annexes

Do Building Regulations annexes need approval?

Yes. These annexes are designed to meet UK Building Regulations and are signed off by Building Control on completion, confirming they meet the required safety and performance standards.

Once your design is finalised, we prepare detailed technical drawings and submit them for Building Regulations approval. We manage this process for you from start to finish.

All of our annexes come with a fitted kitchen and bathroom, internal and external electrics, an electrical connection, foundations, a plastered wall finish, and up to 10m of plumbing as standard.

What is a Caravan Act compliant annexe?

A Caravan Act annexe is designed to meet the legal definition of a caravan under the Caravan Act, allowing it to be installed without Building Regulations approval.
