The Saxon Church
The Anglo-Saxon Church of St. Laurence that is believed to have been built between the eighth and eleventh century, can be found on Church Street.
The Tithe Barn
The Tithe Barn was built in the early fourteenth century and has one of the largest stone rooves in Europe. It was used by the wealthy landowners at the time, to collect taxes from the people of Bradford on Avon.

The marina that is built alongside the Kennet and Avon canal, is host to many barges that use the canal and there is also a pub restuarant with car parking avaliable that opens out onto the edge of the marina.
The river walk and cycle path that runs along the Kennet and Avon canal is just a short walk away and offers the chance for a peaceful evening stroll. You can follow the canal walk to either the town of Trowbridge or the City of Bath and beyond.
